won the contract and installed the reknown, Daikin Reverse Cycle Split Systems, on time and on budget.
Sackville Residential Age Care – 2001
Aged Car Facility – Kew
For this project we had to heat and cool the entire aged care complex and provide the correct ventilation
needs for all relative areas.
For heating and cooling we installed 54 Daikin 3.5kw and 10 Daikin 6.2kw ceiling mounted heat pump
cassettes. The condensors (as per picture) were mounted on the platform with 900m of pipework to the relative indoor units.
For ventilation we used a total of 37 Fantech fans ranging from 50 lps single phase to 2000 lps three phase models
For make-up air in kitchen areas we installed two Breezaire ES 145 evaporative coolers in conjunction
with a Hendy heated water coil.
Oakleigh Christian Centre
The Oakliegh Christian Centre has upwards of 100 people attending its services so it was very important that on the very hot days and cold days
the systems could maintain the right comfort levels. For this project we installed two APAC roof top
packaged heat pumps, a 45kw unit and a 35kw unit. As the pictures show, a crane was used to lift and position them onto the roof were a frame had been built to
support their weight.
Extensive duct work both solid and flexible was run to accomadate
the 40 ceiling diffusers installed
